This one is simply to learn the basics to lead guitar playing. We look at several styles but mainly focus on the purpose and techniques of playing lead guitar as compared to the rhythm guitar. This will definitely get you headed down that path if that is your goal.

Once you've mastered the beginner lessons you're ready to move on to intermediade. Here we move on to more advanced subjects like Power chords and finger picking. In this section there is no particular order you need to follow, just choose what seems appealing to you and go for it.
In this section we learn a bit about what makes different styles unique. Then we break it down and learn techniques, structures and just basically how to play them. Most styles have something that makes them their own. For Country, we learn things like chicken pickin, open string licks, steel guitar style licks, hybrid picking and more. For Blues we learn different scales, chord progressions and more. All styles can be used in almost any genre and that's what makes this section so much fun.
Music Fundamentals
None of the lessons here are aimed at teaching you how to read music. However, there are certainly some basic fundamentals we need to understand in order to even make sense of our study materials. The Theory section here is really just a crash course in basic music fundamentals. Things we need to know in order to get started on the path to actually learning how to play the guitar. I would strongly recommend it.
